I just love when my doctor actually listens to my words and discusses my issues in detail. He is a real delight!
I don’t know Dr. Simien personally and he may be an excellent doctor. I was hoping he could help with my reoccurring GI issues, but when I got a referral from my PCP and called to make an appointment I was denied one for what has to be the dumbest reason ever given. His office staff informed me that If I had seen another GI Dr in the DFW area the. Dr Simien will not take me. Awesome Dr id give him 5 stars except for his secretary is atrocious she's horrible talks over you and has a terrible attitude She keeps scheduling appointments I don't need she hangs up on people and lies and is to lazy to give you any information and tells you to just go to the portal and deal with it. He really should just fire her and find someone who actually wants to answer the phone and do their job. It's to bad because he's really a sharp Dr that knows what he's doing . Dr. Simien is top notch excellent! I'm very fortunate to have him as my GI doctor. He was there at Baylor for me in 2022 when I was at my worst internally. He explains things to where you can understand them. He'll show you images as well from colonoscopy and endoscopy. I can't "thank him enough" for all he's done for me. I had another colonoscopy and endoscopy done this month and once again squeezed me in due to the kind of cancer I have.
