Very disappointing experience. I took my vehicle in for a service and later discovered a crack in the windscreen that wasn’t there when I dropped the car off. When I raised the issue with the them, I was told by the service manager, “EVEN IF A TECHNICIAN HAD CAUSED THE DAMAGE, WE WOULD NOT BE LIABLE.” No evidence, such as photos, a vehicle condition report, or CCTV footage, was provided to support this position. While my vehicle was being held by Melville-Cockburn Toyota for approximately 18 months, I was provided with several courtesy vehicles. Unfortunately, my experience with those vehicles raised serious concerns about both safety and documentation practices. My experience has significantly undermined my confidence in the reliability of Toyota hybrid vehicles and in the level of support provided when serious faults occur.
