Traditional Fondue Place? Being Swiss, it struck me as being strange when I was explained that the traditional Swiss way of eating fondue was having cheese fondue as appetizer, meat or fish fondue as a main course and for dessert indulge in a sweet chocolate fondue. Not so. In fact, we have not even known chocolate fondue in Switzerland until a couple of years ago. Anyway - the food is nice although rather expensive. If you are there, make sure you do indulge in that chocolate fondue, which is refined with Bailey's and comes... read more

Fabulous Food and Atmosphere You go to Melting Pot for the experience and the atmosphere, but the food keeps you coming back. The food is so flavorful, and all ingredients are added right there beside your table. It's really pricey, however me and my girls have goen for Girl's Night Out several times and it's quite afordable that way. Otherwise, it's a special occasion place. Last time we went, we had the best service we had ever had there, and it's normally quite good anyway. I like this location because it's less compact f... read more

Best Fondue AND Girls Night Out – I went last month with a few coworkers for their Girls' Night Out and fell in love with this place! It was like $30 for 4 courses (the chocolate fondue is to die for) and they had good drink specials. Good vibes, good service, good friends and certainly good food. I highly recommend it, especially the Girls' Night Out events.

Our BEST Anniversary... – We went to the Melting P*t for our first-year anniversary. WOW! The host said "Happy Anniversary", they had roses at the table that my husband had ordered and a card, and the server pampered us the whole evening. We have been locals for about ten years and are excited to see an upscale restaurant make it's way to our neighborhood! Yes it is more than your typical night out (in price and experience!!!), but it is fun and entertaining. Even the bartender tossed bottles around while we waited in the ba... read more

It's hip to dip at this cozy fondue-lover's paradise. – In Short Booths equipped with tabletop fondue pots are clustered together inside the intimate dining room. Start with a cheese fondue, including an assortment of breads, veggies and fruits for dipping. Entrees include lobster, center-cut filet, fish, chicken and vegetarian selections served with a variety of dipping sauces. For dessert, try the flaming turtle, a mix of chocolate and caramel flambéed tableside, served with nut-covered marshmallows, fresh fruit, pound cak... read more
