The property was then bought by Clinton and Irene Watson and was converted into a funeral home called Watson Funeral Home. I handled a family members service from start to finish all from 3 hours away. I have nothing negative to say about these people and I believe they went above and beyond for Dennis McMahon and my family. Thanks for making everything easy and for all the work behind the scene.
We initially used Melsons 3 yrs ago for our mom's funeral. They did a great job. We decided to again choose Melsons for our Dad's funeral and we're extremely happy with all aspects from initial meeting through picking up the Death notices. Our father looked wonderful and peaceful. The service was perfect. The care and respect we felt from the staff was comforting at such a difficult time. Thank you all!!!

A very tardy but needed review. Doug handled all arrangements for my fiancé Rick several years ago and his professional and personal assistance was just outstanding. Rick was buried in PA and his “ride” to resting place was in a clean and shiny Cadillac with Doug escorting. Ricks name was engraved on his beautiful casket, purchased at Melson’s, and done complimentary as a surprise. I can’t say enough about Doug and Melson’s. I’m actually planning to prehandle my own arrangements with Doug. Highly recommended,
Customer service is abysmal, ushers are rude and ignorant to my service staff on multiple occasions. They have dropped and destroyed sprays and then hung them upside down for services. They have lost and missed placed multiple funeral flowers that we have photographic and geocache Google maps coordinates as confirmations as proof and when confronted in front of their customer they said that we are the worst when they are clearly the ones with the issues maybe it’s time that you should retire and sell since you clearly do not... read more
