Don't ever go to Mel's Put in a call for help as a key had broken off in the door lock of my truck. The guy on the other end of the line seemed hungover, or maybe someone kicked his puppy, I don't know but he says he will be out in 1-2 hours. Three hours later I had heard nothing, so I called back. It rang 3 times, then went to voicemail which tells me the call was ignored. I would understand the ignored call if the team member was busy but I received no reply after leaving a message. Very Satisfied I have used Mel's for a number of years and have always had great service. I have called them when I have been locked out of my car and they were always prompt, courteous, and reasonable. They have also helped me with the locks on my house and my business. I have never had a problem. My daughter accidentally locked her baby in the car. Mel's was there in no time and didn't even charge her. I highly recommend them!
Poor Customer Service I found myself locked out of my car with my two small children after a family barbeque on a weekend night. I have Emergency Roadside Service through my insurance carrier (Geico) and despite the advertisement of 24 hour service, between the Insurance company and myself calling, we finally reached him after about 35 minutes. Upon reaching him, he was incredibly rude, and stated "So you know, I will get paid upfront, before I do anything. I don't deal with no insurance company, so that's your problem." I w... read more
customer I have used them numerous times and everytime they have been prompt and professional. They are very reasonable and recommend them to everyone!
So Fast! I called them at 9:06 a.m. and I looked out the window to see them unlocking my running car at 9:20. They had come in less than 15 minutes and gotten right to work! They were very quick about it, too. It's 9:25 now, and they've already been paid and gone. It was a thirty-five dollar fee, not bad. Definitely call these guys!
Happy we've used Mel's for our business key needs for many years. We have always gotten good and fair service.
