Typically I love Mel’s but boy has their staff gone down hill. I called to place a to go order, the woman who answered the phone was rude as hell. Snappy because it was busy in house and is refusing to take Togo orders and just hung up. All you guys simply had to do was tell us the wait time would be longer and we would’ve waited but instead they won’t even give you the time a day for something you can’t control! It’s sad that your staff doesn’t know how to run a restaurant.
It was good service was good atmosphere was perfect
We came back and I tried the catfish dinner and it was solid. The fish was clean and had a good flavor. The hush puppies were good even though they were a little greasy. The tartar sauce was pretty good as well. not too tangy. We had a good experience and will be back to maybe try the shrimp. if not, I'll definitely get the fish again.
