My elderly dad was traveling through town when his car broke down and was stranded. Mel's went out of their way to help him. Ashley was kind and patient with him when she didn't have to be. I would highly recommend them solely based on their integrity.
My car broke down while I was here visiting Emporia from out of town. It was after hours and DJ at Mel’s was able to help me get my car off the road and into shelter during a storm. They were able to diagnose the issue and point me in the right direction. I highly recommend and would return to them for any service needs.
I was traveling from Colorado w my daughter, My GF was in Matfield our Airbnb was in Cottonwood when the car died in Emporia at an intersection. Called lots of people in town. The tow service AND Walmart mechanic both suggested Mel's auto. They absolutely didn't have to help us at the time but they did, and i cant tell you how much it saved our trip and weekend! These guys were amazing. They got me back on the riad on a holiday week when they were fully booked. They saved my trip.
