Amazing house and property to stay! Quiet, secluded and private - and only a few mins drive to the centre of town. Well appointed and comfortable. Only downsides were the lack of communication immediately prior to the stay, and a broken shower head bracket which meant it had to be handheld. Otherwise highly recommended!
We had an amazing wedding weekend and am so delighted we picked The Barn on Melross for our wedding! We wanted to choose a venue where we could stay on-site, offer rooms for our close family and bridal party; and have the ceremony plus reception all close-by. Melross Farm ticked all our boxes. We had the most beautiful weekend celebrating our wedding in September. The view from our ceremony and reception was spectacular! Everything was clearly communicated to us and we loved the flexibility of adding our own personalised touches that many other venues do not offer - choosing our ceremony location on the property, bringing our own alcohol onsite and having our bridal party and family stay onsite. Terrene was very accommodating of our requests!
Went to a wedding recently and didn't know if I was at one or in a library. Manager complained one too many times and just seemed like she didn't want anyone to have a good time. Its a no from me
