What kind of policy prevents a patient from changing their primary care provider, even if they’re unhappy with the care they’re receiving? That’s completely unacceptable. Patients should have the right to feel comfortable and confident with their provider, and policies like this undermine that trust.
My husband had spinal fusion surgery at Tufts Medical on August 29. From his check in to the hospital through the ER, to the moment he was released and the orderly brought him to the sidewalk out front and helped him get in to my car, the hospital staff could not have been more kind! Pros: Decent prices, clean, nice people, front desk very nice Cons: No timeline or schedule laid out. It's been over 19 months since I went in to ask to get implants and I'm still waiting. Or so frustrated with not being able to get a rough schedule I texted my estimation of steps left and schedule to the doctor/intern. I asked to please correct or provide one in return.
