We had an incredible experience with Melrose and Southern Oaks! Steph Smith was so helpful in planning our event. I had full confidence that everything would go smoothly. She and Jessica were so easy to work with. We were so impressed with how the day turned out and, honestly, could not stop talking about how special it was. We are so happy! An absolutely gorgeous wedding venue. The modern rustic atmosphere allows you to decorate as little or much as you want, and it will still be a beautiful ceremony and reception. The ability to have both parts of the wedding and reception in the same location was convenient and plenty of space for 130+ people with space to dance. The staff was perfectly accommodating and incognito.
Beautiful space and perfect size for our wedding! Love the old brick and the character of the building, and the outdoor courtyard for cocktail hour. It fit our style perfectly and brought so much warmth to the experience! A little over 100 guests in attendance, everyone fit perfectly without having too much empty space or being crammed in. We had the best wedding at MKM and could not be happier with how it all turned out. Steph, our coordinator, was our North Star. She was so resourceful, organized, and helpful throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. We did the stations menu and it was a hit and the grazing table at cocktail hour was beautiful. The wait staff at the wedding was extremely attentive as well. One small note is that there is no fridge to hold desserts on the wedding day so we had to keep them in coolers.
