Bought a new Fender Squire for my son, but it arrived with a ding in the body. He was super excited when he got it, and really disappointed when he saw it was damaged, which I really wanted to make right. Was told by Melody it would be a two week turnaround to get a replacement, which was totally reasonable to me but my son decided it wasn't a big enough deal to do w/o it, he was playing it constantly and didn't want to stop. As a local music student I enjoy the great service the Melody Music staff supplies and the reasonable prices for gear and percussion accessories that I don't have to worry about sending back to a online supplier if it's broken. While I do have to order my specialty mallets online they are a great place to turn to if I need to replace some worn out sticks and buy a great guitar for my hobby. They do great time on repairs and I would never turn to a franchise music shop if I can buy it there.

This music shop should not make any customer feel like they are being done a favor by being allowing to shop there!..Melody Music will mislead you into thinking you are special and that they want to take such good personal care of you..This is all a front..The most important thing is not the customers satisfaction, but the customers money...Do not fall for this type of business practice..Don't ask TOO many questions as they may have to "bend over backwards" to help you...Remember the good ol' days when a music shop was a fri... read more
