This so called doctor pretty much ruined my life. Over 20 years ago she decided that the pain associated with my sarcoidosis was nonexistent. What are studies showing now? Just that sarcoidosis can cause severe pain. Too bad she didn’t know how to listen back then. Or maybe it was self-importance that caused her to treat me like she did. Maybe the years have humbled her as I’m sure I wasn’t her only mistake.
Dr. Melody Nelsen is a wonderful rheumatologist! I highly recommend her. She’s kind, personable, and compassionate, and she cares about her patients. I had to leave the Flathead and drive to Missoula to find good rheumatological care. Well worth the drive! Her team is also amazing. They respond and get things going so quickly. The exact opposite of the care you’d receive in the Flathead. She gets an A++!! Melody is absolutely amazing and her efforts towards helping me live a better life with a lot less pain helped me tremendously. She has restored some of my faith in the medical field by showing me that amazing doctors still exist. She's great at problem solving while trying to target illnesses. She's very compassionate while helping those who are truly sick. I was in so much pain and desperate for someone to help.
