Great Pizza and Smashburger! My son gave it a 9/10 and I initially gave it an 8/10, but the more I ate the more flavor I found, so it quickly jumped to 9/10. The Smashburger had the Mel’s Secret Sauce which had so many great flavors as well. Shanna made it a great experience for us, and she made us a regular customer from now on!
Mellow Mushroom is our favorite pizza between Houston and Beaumont. Their crust is absolutely addictive, made with spring water and wheat flour, and they even offer a gluten-free cauliflower/ancient grain crust option. It’s not the Sysco cauliflower crust that everyone else uses. Beyond the pizza, we love their specialty cocktails, creative salads, and unique appetizers. Quiet for time of day for small party 1p. Great service.
Definitely not the Mellow Mushroom from years back. Kinda disheartening since I drove a ways for this. The pizza was bland and greasy and the dough lacked that signature flavor. I’ve had better and more cost friendly pizza at Marcos…The manager made half (3) of my pretzels while the baker made the other half(3) and they weren’t the same size nor were they uniform… the only thing worth eating and the reason for 2 stars is the wings. :( So sad.
