Mellow Mushroom opened in 1974 when three college students founded a business that reflected their eccentric philosophies. They saw pizza baking as an art form, and wanted to bring joy to others by perfecting the art of pizza. The first store was created out of an old liquor store on Spring Street near Georgia Tech. To accommodate the long lines and gaining popularity, more Mellow Mushrooms sprung up around Atlanta. Overall amazing experience. The service upstairs by Jess was superb. We had the pretzel bites which our little loved to start. The beer cheese served with it is a clear winner over others. Then we got the Mighty meaty and the loaded potato. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs but stellar in taste on both. Everything came out hot and fresh! Also the lavender cocktail is a must. Only took away 1 star because we were sat at a high top with a 4 year old who was not happy about it but we made it thru.
In town visiting and stopped in for lunch. We had Brooke as our server and she was awesome! Super friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and atmosphere was cool!
One of my favorite places to go here in Cartersville. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is well priced. 10/10 would recommend going here at least once.
Stopped in while staying in the area for a quick lunch. Had the most attentive service I’ve experience in a while all thanks to this lovely waitress who served us on the patio. And the food was yummy too!
