I've been to mellow mushroom several times over the years in GA and NC. It consistently remains to be a great family restaurant. The gluten free crust could be a bit more creative, better cheese. Especially the taco one. Good taste and not like a piece of card board.
We always enjoy mellow mushroom. I know of better independent local pizza places, but MM is a consistently better-than-average franchise performer. We ordered to-go on a holiday weekend Friday evening. The kitchen was clearly slammed. Estimated wait time was about 25 minutes from the time of order. Our order was actually ready about an hour after ordering. The wait wasn’t at all a problem, we get it, Friday night etc. But it’s a real pet peeve when the estimated ready-time is that far off. The server was great. The pizza was trash.
