This is the Best bike shop in Syracuse area.
Wasted my time, insulted my effort, and offered nothing. I spent over an hour getting to Mello Velo—walking, taking the bus, and walking again—because your website showed you had 20" BMX tires in stock that matched my budget. I came with $50 total and made that clear from the jump. Instead, your staff brought out two tires that were $60 each. Your website? Totally inaccurate. Fast queues and service, very friendly and accommodating staff. Decent selection as well. Was having some trouble with derailleurs, gearing was slightly off, but still shifting properly 90% of the time. Unfortunately, after receiving service, it is significantly worse now, maybe 50/50. This has been my only issue, and while its relatively minor, I am somewhat disappointed. Would still recommend, though.
Phenomenal local bike shop with excellent staff!
Was told bike was fixed. Went to pickup and they realized it wasn’t. Offered credit for inconvenience. Came back to pickup, one person went to get the bike, someone else rang me out. Discount wasn’t applied. Guy walked the bike up, stands it in the middle of the floor and walks away. At this point I guess we’re done. So I left. Won’t be returning. Wouldn’t recommend.
