Honestly, the consultation was terrible. They were rude the whole time and made me feel uncomfortable. I showed them the hair pictures I wanted, and instead of actually helping me, they kept saying the pictures looked “AI” like that even mattered. It felt like they were judging me instead of listening. I went in excited and left feeling annoyed. Customer service was not it, and I definitely won’t be coming back.
I’ve been coming to Mella Salon for a few years now, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Every stylist here is incredibly talented—Leda, Mella, and Ariana have all worked on my hair, and every experience has been amazing. I can't recommend this salon enough! The entire team is amazing—friendly, professional, and incredibly talented. They always make you feel welcome, and they even have the best coffee! Leda is an absolute master when it comes to blonde hair and hair extensions. She has an incredible eye for detail and always delivers beautiful, natural-looking results. This happened about 6 months ago, and I was too scared to leave a review back then, but I still think about it so I’m writing one now. I went in for a color analysis only and wanted a true jet black hair shade, but they gave me a black with brown tones instead, which wasn’t what I asked for. The analysis wasn’t close to what I wanted, it felt rushed, and like they didn’t really understand my request. I wasn’t happy with the results at all, and overall it was a waste of money!!!
This was about a year ago, but I still remember how insanely expensive the hair extensions were for results that didn't meet my expectations. They didn't blend well with my natural hair and made me feel uncomfortable with how I looked, so I left disappointed overall.
