I remember the last time I saw Dr B as I called her, she came in smiling and telling me she was retiring and that I could now find a Dr closer to where I lived. I was happy for her & heartbroken as well. I went to Dr B for over 30 yrs. She was the most wonderful Dr ever and even a better person. I know I will see you again. Thanks for taking care of my kids, husband, grandkids and my little brother until his death. Our hearts are still broken on your passing. Your work was done!!

I’m 46 and had been going to Dr.Barrett since I was 17. My entire family even aunts and uncles went to her. She was the BEST doctor I have ever been too. When she retired I cried like a baby. And now hearing she passed away in March 2023 I cried like a baby.. she will be missed by all her patients. She was like family::( I’m soooo heartbroken
I am a little late in writing this review in regard to Dr. Melissa Barrett. I had seen her for 35 years. She was the only doctor I had in my entire adult life. I selected her out of a provider book in 1987/1988 and that was one of the greatest decisions ever. She had just started her practice with a new group. I had not even had a visit with her but I was in the hospital having a procedure with another doctor and she actually came to see me in the OR. She had heard her "new patient" was in the hospital.
