I had an appointment with Dr. Schoenwetter almost 2 years ago and I have never felt gaslit by a medical professional prior to that appointment. I have a rare autoimmune condition and my neurologist at UC Davis encouraged me to see a local rheumatologist to help oversee my care. My mother is here today. I just wanna say from my heart my appreciation for todays visit. Dr. Schoenwetter took the time to just sit and listen to me and my mothers story of life. I know its frustrating dealing with my foreign mother but the respect given today is verry much appreciated and heart felt. Its been a hard road since my father her husband of 50 yrs passed away. Dr. Schoenwetter is not only a fantastic rheumatologist but a compassionate person. She listens when I answer her questions and plays investigator with my symptoms. She always looks at the whole picture when treating her patients and makes every effort to treat the whole person because she recognizes the interconnection of all systems.
