We have known Dr. Leyva for a few years now. Our son has suffered from a couple of different issues over the years and Dr. Leyva has always been very helpful. Recently we had the opportunity to visit Dr. Leyva for an urgent need, and her close follow up and professionalism exceeded our already high expectations. Dr Leyva was amazing with my 8 year old son. She made him feel very comfortable and helped us target his issue and come up with a plan to overcome it. I highly recommend her.
I highly recommend Dr. Leyva, she saw my 15 year old and was great from start to finish. Listened to what was going on, explained what the possible issue was, set up testing, and provided a timely diagnosis. We had a follow-up meeting after the diagnosis where she walked us through next steps include support from a nutritionist She has both great technical skill and wonderful bedside manner. I noticed some reviews site it taking a long time to get in and or less than pleasant staff. That was not our experience.
I like Dr.Leyva; my daughter has been a patient of hers for over a year and she was able to help her. Unfortunately the Fair lawn office phone administration and nurse, are incredibly rude and un-helpful. I will continue to see this doctor but willgo to the Livingston location where the the staffis much better.
