There is a Catholic OB retiring in the area with a large number of patients so I feel compelled to write a review about the experience I had with Dr. Yeats and her office years back because I’m sure many people are going to be looking for a new OB. Love Dr.Yates but she definitely needs to do better when it comes to prescription refills. It's still an on going issue. Every month I have to call her to write a prescription to get a refill! So far it's been 3 weeks now and my son has gone without his adderall. Every time I call and if the nurse feels like it, she will leave a nasty response to tell me not to call so much and they will handle it or it's been handled but yet......the pharmacy tells me they haven't even heard from the doctor yet. We first found Dr. Yates about 10 years ago when my parents moved to Olathe. We had an issue that we thought might be serious and Dr. Yates moved appointments prior to us being in her practice to see us. Since that time she is the only doctor my father trusts so I too have moved to her practice. I appreciate her ability to be flexible if you are open to other solutions.
Wish I could leave negative 10 stars. Her it was told to her in private. and her staff can talk crap about you all they want. But don't dare try to defend yourself. I have a lot of pretty serious health issues. But my final straw was whe she decided to mention a bank account I told her about a few years ago. Well just recently she posted in her notes. for all to see. This had absolutely nothing to do with any care I receive from KU. I guess HIPA laws don't apply to her. If you value being cared for and listened to, Dr. Yeats isn't the one to go to. She told me my symptoms were in my head and further testing wouldn't find anything. I ended up seeking a consult from a specialist on my own and was diagnosed with a fairly common and easy to diagnose issue. She seems overworked and too busy to care. Her demeanor was unprofessional. If she took the time to listen she could have saved me months of suffering.
