Great Endocrinologist! Dr. Goldstein has been my doctor for over 10 years.
My primary care doctor sent a referral to Dr. Goldstein due to my being pre-diabetic. (I had the same issue as previous posts here with the office saying they did not get the referral). I was told she does not see pre-diabetic patients. Period. I would think that treating pre-diabetes is very important to prevent full-on diabetes. But apparently she does not feel that way.
Dr. Goldstein never listens to me. She only looks at the blood test results and dismisses any issues I've mentioned. When I push her to make more of an effort, she would suggest that I need a therapist and that all my problems are in my head. She seems more focused on herself than me, her patient. I know more about how well her child is doing than about my health because she would rather talk about her family. I had to go to a different endocrinologist to discover my issues were never “in my head”.
Wish I could have this amazing experience that everyone is raving about but it's been impossible to schedule an appointment. Been back & forth with the practice since Dec 2024, its July 2025. They haven't received the referral, the notes--even when I see the nurse from my primary's office fax it with my own eyes and hold the "fax received" printout in my hands.
When I lived in Stamford, CT, Dr. Goldstein was my endocrinologist for several years. Not only is she a terrific doctor, but she is also a terrific person! I got top notch care and I miss our chats. Dr. Goldstein, if you do read this, my son ended up at the University of Wisconsin! Go Badgers!
