Horrific experience with me, my children, and coparent seeing Melissa. The unethical and unprofessional behavior of this woman cannot be overstated. I trusted her with my children and she treated me horribly. We decided to hire ms. Galiotto for our 11yr old sue to anxiety and ocd. She stated she did emdr. We were very excited. She was personable in the beginning and understanding. She stated Her procedure is to handle all children “unless very little” as adults so parents are not permitted in for the session and they are to sit in a waiting room outside with a sound machine on and door closed so no ability to hear. I didn’t put the pieces together for at least two years, but Melissa felt incredibly manipulative and self serving. I am seeing someone else and already feel lighter and healthier mentally. Her insecurities were a heavy weight to bear.
