Sad to say the things I bought were all hard as bricks and dry as a bone. Was really excited to try what I heard were great baked goods but can’t recommend them unfortunately. I don’t like to leave negative reviews for small businesses but they really were quite terrible and want to save others the trip and money. I see I’m not the only one with this experience so hopefully the owners can change their recipe

4.8/5 Was visiting Santa Cruz for the weekend when I found this gem. Being gluten free it’s hard to find donuts, especially good ones. The maple and coconut chocolate donuts were fantastic. Apple fritter was good, not great, but also it’s hard to make gluten free. Scone was also really good. Definitely will come back if I’m in the area. Coffee was also great.
I am a little torn on this review, because as a gluten free person, I am really excited to find a dedicated gluten free bakery, but at the same time am really disappointed when it seems like they don't try very hard. The cream cheese Danish was really bad. No butter flavor, the middle was raw dough and the flour was off. I am not a very good baker, but tried a few online recipes and came up with something that was at least buttery and had layers, so I know it is possible and not that hard.
