Melinda Poyer did not follow national medical guidelines at least three times before I stopped seeing here. She also went out of her way to covered up that fact. I have met few people who are as power-hungry as she is. She loves to tell other people she is the most important doctor at the hospital. She expects people to drop what they're doing to tend to her demands, and she expects everyone to do what she says because of her status, not her being right. She wouldn't ref my child to an ent blamed me for his constant ear inf I left went to new Dr got ref to ent my son's ear inside not dev correctly needed tubes stopped important like stones in 1st yr of his life he grew up toddler yrs being dev mentally behind she caused yrs of heartache & unnecessary cost for not listening to me and just giving ref to ent don't let her opinion Medicare's guess stop you from getting help you need
The receptionist is so rude it is unreal. She looks at you as if it is a personal affront that you are there in the first place. ZERO personality or kindness. The PA is quite good though. If not, I would never set foot it that office again. The attending nurse was not exactly a happy camper either, but compared to the receptionist she was fine.
Love the doctors. The in take receptionist is rude and ridgid like a prison guard. The waiting room furniture is cute but VERY uncomfortable. The wait is always too long.
Her newer younger female receptionist is not friendly and does not often acknowledge comments, questions or statements on the phone or in person. She comes off as aloof and inconvenienced. She acts as if the patient should know the procedures and policies as well as she might. Three times in a row she has been rude and unhelpful.
She is very thorough in what she does and make sure she gets to to root of the problem.
