Wow, She isn't supposed to take sides as an amicus, but she does. Melinda Owen's is a complete joke and a very unprofessional woman. She got assigned to be the amicus for our case, and instead of doing the research and paying attention to what would be the best for the child, she listened to the Alcoholic, gold digging , mother( which the mother in court stated she was an alcoholic and has anger issues among other things and the judge ordered the mother to do alcohol classes and anger management classes which she did not do ... read more

Promised a straight-forward document in 3 business days. She's currently 4 weeks late. Office keeps saying they are working on it, but it never gets done. Also, during mediation, everyone changed times for her convenience, and she still left early, before it was completed, which led to a poor outcome.
