I brought my (16YO) son to Dr Jack for a second opinion, after Nationwide Children's failed to help him over the course of 6 months. She actually did a thorough exam and confirmed our suspicion that he needed to have surgery. We never had a bad interaction with any staff member. Her nurse and MA's were always friendly and helpful. We never felt rushed and mychart messages were always replied to within 24 hours. My husband has severe Crohn's disease and Dr. Jack has given him compassionate and thorough care. She always takes the time to listen and give us all our options.
Dr. Jack continued to perform a colonoscopy after I expressed multiple times that I was in pain and asked her to stop. She didn't stop until I started to scream and cuss from the amount of pain I was in. I have delivered 4 babies unmedicated but this was handsdown the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I have already reported her to the Ohio Board of Health, but I am leaving this review in case they do not see fit to suspend her license.
Diligent and caring doctor
My visit was great considering I had to have a banded hemorrhoid and then after it fell off I got a blood clot and she got me in the same day to see me ! At the time my wife and I didn't know what was happening.Once she came into the room she knew what was going on and reassured me she help. She fixed me up with a couple stitches and I was good to go. Melinda does have very good bedside manors and cared very much for my recovery. The whole staff was nice and informative when we had questions.
