I called two years ago to see if I could get a lower rate for my son's insurance. Due to his history (credit / accident / etc.) he was only able to get insured by a Namebrand insurance for 4500$ every 6 months. Melinda suggested that I increase the deductible for the Namebrand insurance. Doing so resulted in a decrease in the premium to 4000$ saving us $1000 over 1 year.
