Superb modern take on Greek cuisine with superbly created sauces and complimentary pickles and garnishes that make the meal pop with flavor. Many of the dishes can be made vegan and a selection of mezzo with the baby portobello souvlaki which has a seeet potato paste and hint of mint is an extra-tasty culinary experience.
My husband, father in law, and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Melinas in Bethesda. The atmosphere was great. We really enjoyed the fresh air and had a booth where you could see the Chef work. Our server Jordan really knew what she was doing. She was very attentive and explained everything thoroughly. Disappointing experience, the acoustics are terrible in this restaurant even with a small crowd-you feel like you are in a noisy bar, the food is only fair and over seasoned, the cost is high for what you get.
Great location, and great atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the service was very good
