We hired Scott Mitchell to file our taxes. I followed up numerous times to ensure I had provided the necessary information. On April 8th after reaching out a number of times he told me; "just running way behind but will do my best". On April 20th (2 days after taxes were due)- I still hadn't heard from him, I reached out again to which he told me, "I did an extension to be safe but will get this done next week when I return. Very organized and nice place!
Melillo & Mitchell filed our taxes incorrectly, falsely claimed that they submitted documents to the IRS when they did not. As a result, my husband ended up with a tax lien on his credit report!! I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.
