I traveled a long distance for this appointment after being told she would be able to do my hair. However, once I arrived, she said she couldn’t proceed because she was afraid my hair would break. I explained that I’ve been maintaining my hair this way since I was young and have not had issues. Unfortunately, it seemed like she may not have been fully comfortable or experienced with performing a chemical perm on my hair type.
