Dr. Melendez is a very caring and compassionate surgeon, I broke my ankle and he has done a fabulous job with me! I am confident he will get me through this journey. As a nurse I have been very impressed with his bedside manner as well as his discussions of my injury with me. He is very knowledgeable as well, and his office staff are as kind and compassionate as he is - especially Louise!
Dr. Melendez performed Scapho-Lunate surgery on my right wrist back in 1990 while we were both in the U.S. Air Force. He was a"Brilliant" Surgeon according to the many doctors who have x-rayed my wrist over the years at the Veterans Affairs Hospitals for review. They all said that the closure of the injury has never changed and that whoever performed the surgery did a magnificent job! Thank you Dr. Melendez! P.S. I too am in the Tampa area
