We knew from the start of planning our wedding that we needed to have Puerto Rican food, and Melendez Catering (with their former restaurant Twisted Taino) was the obvious choice. Words can not describe the level of service, professionalism, and quality of food for our wedding that Chef Jose catered. There was a minor misunderstanding between the venue and Chef Jose that he handled it without raising alarms to the bridal couple while upgrading our menu and experience. His food was not "traditional wedding food" smothered in sauces with bland taste.
