My mom passed away 2 years ago in May. I am still waiting for her end of life date to be engraved on the stone. I have called (no one ever answers the phone) and left voicemails and sent emails. No one ever gets back to me. I called Lancaster Monument only to find out that Melbys has never even contacted them to engrave the stone. Melbys took my Dads money for the engraving but never followed through. Also, my Mom's obituary was never posted online as promised. My Dad passed away this January. Terrible terrible experience! Every time we called, they said they would look into it and a call us back… never received a call back.(over 10 situations). The obituary took over two weeks and multiple drafts with errors before it was posted. The death certificate was produced, but not shared with the family. When I went to the courthouse to get my own copies I found the name was incorrect, very upsetting. Again, no apologies no concern on their part.
