I was lucky enough to have my check with the lovely lady, Sharon. It was a good experience as she is attentive, helpful and knowledgeable.
Definitely wasn't what I planned to do on my first day in Melbourne from UK, but I had a lovely experience. Super friendly and helpful staff, I was well looked after and everything explained throughout. I felt like my concerns were listened to and addressed, and I was involved in the plan making. Amazing that this was all free at the point of care for me. Thank you so much!
I had a really unpleasant experience during a test here a few months ago. The doctor accidentally inserted the swab into the wrong area (the urethra instead of the vaginal opening), which caused immediate burning and discomfort. Because of this, the test results were inaccurate and didn’t reflect what I was actually being tested for. I believe the doctor’s name was something like Dr. Joo or Dr. Jo, but I’m not completely sure.
