Melbourne private is run down and old. The pantry’s on the wards feel dirty and broken. It is cramped for room in the procedure areas and the staff don’t have room around the beds to even work. The meals are well below par (actually worse) for a hospital and never delivered in a timely manor. Yesterday my lunch was not delivered until after 2pm. Being diabetic that’s not good. All the staff are friendly and willing to assist. This place needs a total refit or pulled down and re built
I recently had a cardiac procedure at this hospital and the staff were absolutely amazing . A big thank you to the admin staff , nurses and professor john kalman who performed the procedure.
The team from reception, the nursing team on Lvl6, the through to the surgical staff have been nothing short of amazing. The staff are so caring and kind. I would highly recommend Melbourne private. Sure its older, but the care has exceeded my expectations. I had a single room. Food was nice too.
