I had a radio frequency procedure with Dr Stiofan O Conghaile on the 21/7/2025 to block the nerves to stop pain in my lower back and down my left leg and into the groin. It went extremely well, I was sore the night of the procedure, but got up the next day feeling amazing after not being able to walk for more than a short distance without pain and having to sit wherever I was when it struck. I have had a very long and exhausting process of nerve pain. And I was very lucky to try the Melbourne Pain specialists. The whole process of trial and error and listening to my guidance and giving me options and allowing my voice heard. Dr Stiofan was brilliant and his whole team has given me my life back.
After 10 years of back pain I credit Stiofan with finally getting me to recovery - and I nearly didn't go to see him.
