Similar to other reviews here, this clinic is let down by it's reception staff - who display absolutely no compassion to the patients. I also had an appointment I have been waiting for 3 months for cancelled, as they called for prepayment 3 days prior, and I missed the calls as I was asleep in a different time zone in Europe. The reception staff have no empathy for people with mental health and just care about money. I had a confirmed Telehealth apportionment but it got cancelled last minute because I didn’t answer my phone during working hours and pay the day before. I couldn’t answer my phone or call back because I was working. They said it was their ‘policy’ to give the appointment to someone next on the list. They never told me about this when I booked. My doctor was going to refer me to this practice. I need to see a psychiatrist every 4- 6 weeks. I saw my last private psychiatrist for over 20 years, before he retired. He actually bulk billed me because he genuinely cared about me. I rang this practice to find out their rates and they told me between $400-$600 a session. Who can afford this every four weeks? This is an excellent practice in quality and service. I have seen two specialists here for many years, Dr Neil Shuey, and Dr Aileen Shuey. Both doctors are excellent in their patient care, collaboration with other doctors and follow up. As a patient I feel listened to and cared for in this practice.
