Dr Michael Cheung at The Royal Children’s Hospital has looked after my daughter’s heart condition for the past 18 years. We saw him again this afternoon, and it reminded me how fortunate we have been to have him caring for her throughout her childhood and into adulthood. Dr Darren was fantastic. Staff also really friendly and flexible. Be aware parking under the hospital is limited.

Called in as a worried mother for my child as I’ve just left the GP worried after being told my 2 year old has a heart murmur and I get talked to rudely by reception don’t call them if you want a place that has simply empathy to a situation
My gosh how lucky are our Victorian kids to have a place like this to go when they have heart issues? It’s such a great, slick system to investigate them and see a skilled and kind paediatric cardiologist. I felt in very, very safe hands with my child’s second most important organ! Highly recommend.
