I have recently completed a long recovery following finger surgery and have just been discharged from Melbourne Hand Rehab. I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received from Ricky and Céline. Very disappointed in the service. I had limited resources to spend on therapy and wasted a session spinning wheels because there is little to no buy in from the physio. I since learnt that hand physios are not recommended as they can be very tunnel visioned. I have had much better service and care elsewhere. I can’t recommend Ricky highly enough. I saw him following De Quervain’s surgery that was complicated by post-operative nerve issues, and his care made a huge difference to my recovery. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in his patients. Melbourne Hand Rehab delivered a fantastic service. I broke my thumb many years ago and it began to trouble me in recent times. I had pain and mobility issues. Several sessions over 3 months brought my thumb back to near 100% and was made to feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. Staff were relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend their service. Ricky has been a very conscientious, engaged and supportive hand therapist since my major motorbike accident 8 months ago. The team at Commercial Rd seem to bring the best out of each other with a relaxed, personable vibe. I have great rapport with all of the staff there!
