Made a real mess of my wooden floors. Did not dark stain as discussed and then sealed which looked disgusting before letting me see. Looked pink! To rectify they Stained over the top of the seal after a light sand. Stain then pooled and very patchy then blamed the oil in the wood not the seal .Seal should have been totally removed before staining but they did a short cut. Stay away from Melbourne Floors. The job was full of defects, the owner ignores all communication, and I’ve had to pay other trades to fix the mess. They take your money, deliver poor work, and refuse to stand by it. Avoid at all costs.
KEEP AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! I would give 0 stars if possible. They do not lay hybrid floors to standard. Your hybrid bloods will lift and buckle and they will come up with every excuse possible as to why it is (moisture in slab, etc). Have seen the same comments in previous reviews. Had professionals come out and do reporting on the slab to find this is absolutely not true, and that they have not laid as per flooring code and they should be liable, good luck. As a Builder we used the company for our hybrid floating floors over the past couple of years and they did 5 Units and also a personal home of ours. Every single job they’ve done has all buckled and lifted and I’ve been back and forth on the phone with the rude arrogant owner Izaak for months. His excuse for everything is must be moisture in your slabs even though one was in a subfloor. had a great experience with these guys! responded to my request for a quote quickly, called me to arrange a measure/quote and arrived on time. isaac came around to do my quote and was super kind, informative and helpful with his suggestions. he also went the extra mile to organise getting my hybrid floors installed the next day! the job was done by 3pm and the team left the place spotless. my floors look incredible, highly recommend isaac and his company :)
