Today I went to view Melbourne city baths as I’m looking for a home gym in the CBD, I was greeted by the lovely Joe at reception. Joe gave a very informative tour, he answered all of my questions and queries. Gyms can be intimidating at times and Joe really went to an effort making me feel comfortable while in the space, he was a complete gentleman. Joined free summer swimming lessons for a week, loved it! Special thank you to Vanessa and her amazing positive energy, individual support, and encouragement. You pushed me in a way that helped me improve so fast in such a short time and gain so much confidence in the water. Your classes were fun and supportive, and you made every session a joy!
The pools themselves are fine, but there is only ONE accessible changing room and toilet in the entire venue. I waited outside this cubicle for over half an hour in order to use it. And when it was finally available, the toilet was covered in poo.
