I previously had Dr. McDowell as my OBGYN when she was practicing at Franklin Square in Nottingham. I finally found a doctor who made me completely comfortable! She is phenomenal. So much so that I will be making an hour (instead of 10 minutes to the closest OBGYN) commute just to come and be seen by her. She is so helpful, calming and explained everything very thoroughly. I took my 17-year-old daughter to see Dr. McDowell, and it was a fantastic experience. My daughter's previous gynecologist at Mercy was cold and terse. She did not even want to see me. Dr. McDowell, on the other hand, was wonderful and professional. Now, I plan to change doctors and have her be my doctor.
