Unfortunately, the staff for Dr. Melamed was unable to accommodate me despite a referral for an emergency root canal due to severe pain and facial swelling. When asked if I had insurance, following my answer that I am self pay, I was told they could see me on the 13th, or at another location on Friday the 9th. I had a root canal done by Dr. Judy Y. Melamed I came to her in tears, with severe pain - it had been hurting for three days straight, and it felt like a nightmare. I was seen very quickly, which I truly appreciated. The doctor was extremely attentive and meticulous with her work, checking several times on the X-rays to make sure everything was sealed perfectly. When the anesthesia wore off, there was no pain at all, it honestly felt like a miracle. Thank you so much, doctor!
