Moved out in February and had to break the lease and paid everything I was supposed to pay and gave notice. Today September the 9th got a letter from a collection agency. Called the Apartment and apparently the office made a mistake, however I am still liable for 700 dollars that I already paid. This is honestly not good but the level of incompetence and greed is outstanding. I believe anyone looking for a place in San Antonio can get much better than this roach infected unprofessional apartment complex.
The location and apartment itself can’t be beat. But the after hour pool parties (complete with flashing lights and karaoke machine), the broken gates (so much for gated entry) and the lack of responses from management (all of them! They change frequently.) makes Mela less than ideal. Phone calls go unanswered or are not returned. Emails promise updates and never come. Monthly activities are posted in the middle of the month.
