Went to Pullman for a conference and was pleasantly surprised to find a Bangladeshi restaurant there. We got Three chicken biryani for take out because we were on our way to visit Palouse Falls State Park. The food was exceptional and is true to the "Bangladeshi" in Mela Bangladeshi cuisine. Perhaps one of the best chicken biryani I've had here in the States, which stayed true to the Bangladesh flavor. The arrangement, the decorations, and the ambience inside the restaurant were also nice.
Great food and great service. The wait can be a little slow as there isn’t a lot of staff, but it’s worth the wait as the food is definitely homemade.
Hands down the best home cooked meal you’ll ever have. This family run Bangladeshi spot is the real deal — rotating weekly menu, incredibly fair prices, and something for everyone whether you’re vegan, gluten free, a meat lover, or a spice chaser. From lamb to chicken to beef with authentic sauces that actually bring the heat, every dish is made with care and it shows. Great for sensitive stomachs too. Perfect dinner spot and absolutely worth checking out.
The food was so good. And owners are so welcome, it felt like home.
I have dined at Mela Restaurant a few times recently, and I must say I am very impressed. The food quality is excellent, and dish I've tried tasted delicious and incredibly fresh. The service is also wonderful; the staff are always polite, attentive, and very well-mannered.
