Unfortunately I have not had a good haircut at Mel’s in years. The colour work and service is excellent but the younger staff seemingly do not know how to style cut hair properly. The layers are always choppy and uneven with no blending. The last cut I had I had to get fixed at another salon. I kept going back because I was booked with different stylists but I always got the same result. I wish there was more industry-wide emphasis on teaching hairdressing apprentices to cut hair well and with attention to detail.
Great place, staff are friendly and the price is reasonable
Just not enough stars to give to this crew. Place is always an amazing atmosphere and you can relax knowing you are in great hands. 'Other Mel' is amazing with longer hair and it's just a welcoming place that I love to go, de-stress and feel better. Thank you for the amazing job you do ladies!
Thank you so much to Melissa at #Mels! She was fantastic with my almost 2 year old, he let her clipper and cut his hair. He sat through a whole haircut with no cares! This was our first hair cut at Mel’s, and first haircut he’s had to completion, we will definitely be returning! 🩷
