JT here at Meineke took care of me staying 40 minutes past close to make sure I can get my car before they close for the weekend. Excellent staff highly recommended.
They were very helpful. It was an vehicle inspection for Uber, but Uber didn't like the first report because one letter was darker than the others, so they would not accept it. The person at the desk completely rewrote it, which I really appreciate. Uber had no problem with the rewrite.
We brought our Promaster in and spent over $4k getting in shape for a long road trip. They checked on the check engine light and said it was on because our license plate light was out. The next day, the van had trouble starting and we brought it to another Meineke location in Salt Lake City. They told us it was the battery and the alternator. It’s extremely frustrating that we weren’t told this so we could fix it before our trip.
I brought in my car to check out a squeaking noise in the wheels. They did a work up and charged me over $2000 for what seems like unnecessary work because they never took care of the squeaking noise. They also told me they couldn’t honor a lifetime guarantee on a part. I had to contact company headquarters and it took days for them to get back to me about the lifetime guarantee, which they did honor after a lot of trouble. But of course, I’m still stuck with most of the bill.
