It’s can be difficult to find an auto repair shop that you can trust. Meineke in Aston has proven itself to be honest time and time again. This was simple state inspection that was completed in a reasonable time and notified me as soon as it was completed.
Update: I had to have the car towed back because apparently it needs a new belt and tensioner ? Makes me wonder if the alternator was never actually bad? Since those 2 things are directly corralated to the alternator. Should the mechanic have inspected the belt upon removal of the alternator and see it was worn and close to snapping? In no way am i changing my opinion of john and the service i received, im just wondering if it was an honest mistake and the belt/tensioner were actually the problem to begin with? Professional and reliable service. Had a front end alignment done on my 2007 Acura TLS after new tires and front end work done. Have used them in the past. They get you in and out in a timely fashion.
My car broke down at the light by Barnabys. I called multiple local shops and they were all booked up for weeks! Finally talked to John at Meineke and he said "drop it off and we'll get right on it!" From the 1st interaction til the end, John was awesome! Im mechanically inclined and know about cars and what repairs cost. I needed an alternator and a crankshaft positioing sensor.
