Took the car in because it was overheating. Also for an oil change and charge the air conditioner. They diagnosed it quickly and saw the check engine light was on. They put a bar scope down The cylinder and found a cracked ring. They did not try to talk me into getting it fixed. Just simply stated that this motor will probably let go down the line. I appreciated the honesty. Picked up the car the next day.
Friendly staff. Helped figure out my issue. And showed me just what I needed to have done. Was honest with if I needed work done right away or could wait a while. Will be returning to get my car serviced from now on.
I’ve been here before with different cars, but the prices seem to have gone up a lot for what felt like a simple fix. I dropped my car off at 10:00 and got a text around noon saying it was done. I checked around 11:00 to see if it had been worked on yet, and at that point it hadn’t been started. I needed my license please mount fixed. Just picked up a vehicle from Meineke this afternoon. We dropped it off this morning at 9am, and it was ready for pickup by 11:25am! We picked it up later than that, but the quick turnaround on a diagnosis, part procurement, and repair was impressive. Set us back around $1k (which was to be expected for the work performed), but now the car doesn't sound like it's dying when you stop, turn, or generally drive! Pretty darn good service for a chain.
